SUNDAY NIGHTS @ EBENEZER

EACH SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 5:15 P.M.

   Sunday Nights @ Ebenezer offers individuals and families additional Bible studies designed to enrich your walk with God. We have Kid’s Connection for preschool and children up to grade four who meet at the Main Campus. Youth in grades five through twelve meet at the Heritage Center. We are having three Bible studies for adults. There will be a study for ladies, parents and a general Bible study. These will meet at the Main Campus.
   Each week we will serve a light dinner from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Bible study groups will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD PACKING

   We are at the point of packing the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes and delivering them to the local drop off location. We are needing lots of hands to help pack 1,000 shoe boxes. Listed below are the date for folding and sorting boxes and packing boxes.
Monday, November 11 - 4:30-8:30 pm
Tuesday, November 12 - 9:30-12:30 pm
Friday, November 15 - 9:30-12:30 pm
Saturday, November 16 - 9:30 – done. We will also have a carry-in potluck.
   We will meet at the Heritage Center FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22 @ 1:00 P.M. to take the shoe boxes too the drop off location in Logan.

M.A.P. SENIOR ADULT TRIP

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 11:00 A.M.

      Senior adults age 60 and up are invited to join us for our next outing. We will have lunch  at  Christy’s Pizza  in Lancaster  and then go bowling at Tiki Lanes. Cos is $5 and lunch. Sign up in the church foyer. Contact Carrie Shymanski for more details.

FAMILIES COUNT TRAINING

FAMILIES COUNT TRAINING CHURCH TRAINING
Families Count is a family restoration and preservation ministry for parents seeking permanency with their children due to the children being placed in foster care or at risk of entering it. Through Families Count, local churches have a platform to minister to and walk with broken families to help them be restored and preserved with the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Ebenezer Baptist Church is hosting a regional training for Families Count, a ministry of Lifeline Children’s Services. The dates for this are Friday, November 15, 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 16, 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. 
THIS TRAINING WILL ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO TEACH OR BE COORDINATORS FOR THE FAMILIES FIRST PARENT COURSE.
This training is open to the public. Pastors and church leaders are encouraged to attend.

DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 6:30 P.M.

  We are offering a one hour training geared toward towards gaining confidence in sharing your story and God’s story. Whether you are a new or seasoned Christian, this practical hands on training, will help you more effectively share the gospel. You will learn how to plant gospel seeds in 30 seconds of less as well as in depth conversations. We will also talk about the role the Holy Spirit plays sharing the gospel. Food provided.

SECRET SISTER FELLOWSHIP

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6, 6:00 P.M.

  Ladies ages 18 and up are invited to join Secret Sisters. This is a way for ladies to bless each other with notes, cards, and small gifts. Most importantly, ladies are encouraged to pray for one another.
On Friday, December 6 at 6:00 p.m. we have a reveal party where we find out who our secret sisters are and draw new names. Bring a snack/appetizer to share.

PRAYUP WOMEN'S PRAYER GROUP

AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15, 8:00 A.M - 1:00 P.M.

  Blood donations of all types are needed to help others who need potentially life-saving blood. If you are able to donate, we encourage you to make an appointment to give blood to ensure that our hospitals have the needed blood supply.
