M.A.P. SENIOR ADULT TRIP
TUESDAY, AUGUST 6, DEPARTS CHURCH 10:00 A.M.
If you are an adult age 60 and up, we want to invite you to our senior adult ministry M.A.P. (Maturing Adults with Pizzazz) events. Each month we get together for lunch at the church or go on a day trip. Bring a friend and join us for fun fellowship.
Our next event is a trip to to the Velvet Ice Cream factory in Utica. We will enjoy some delicious ice cream and the scenery followed by a stop at Legend Hills Orchard. If we are hungry, we will go to the Pizza Factory before heading home.

GRIEFSHARE SUPPORT GROUP
THURSDAY, AUGUST 8, 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences, the death of a loved one. You don’t have to go through this grieving process alone. The GriefShare support group is led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.
We understand that there are other losses in life that create feelings of grief. You might be experiencing a job loss, a divorce, estrangement from a child, or the loss of friends because of a move. This grief is real, but it is not the kind of grief discussed in GriefShare sessions. We encourage you to ask a pastor, counselor, or church leader for help in finding resources that will be of specific help in your situation.
The 13 week Griefshare session will meet in the church library. Individuals interested in joining can get more information and register at www.griefshare.org. Participant books are $20 and can be purchased online or at the church. You can also call or text Peggy at 740-216-0211.
