LIFE GROUP SUNDAY SCHOOL

EACH SUNDAY, 10:30 A.M.

   We have revamped our Sunday school and are offering more Bible study options. If you are not involved in a Sunday school class, this is a great time to get connected.
   Listed below is what each class will be studying beginning in September:
PRESCHOOL (AGES 2 - KINDERGARTEN):
They will be following Michael and Emily as they learn about God. This quarter they will explore creation and Noah among other Bible truths.
 GRADES 1 -6: 
Kids will learn to choose wisely, explore how God does amazing things, and the Genesis account of creation..
 Grades 7 - 9: 
The youth in this class will be doing a study entitled "Bible Backroads: The Book of Matthew". This is an overview of the people, places, and events of Matthew's gospel.
 Grades 9 - 12: 
They will be doing a study looking at the lives of various people form Old Testament and New Testament and how God impacted their lives.
Young Adult: 
They are watching The Chosen and examining the Scripture passages that go with each episode.
   Parents: 
They are working their way through 99 Essential Christian Doctrines.
   Grace (ladies class) & Home Builders (co-ed class): 
They are using Lifeway curriculum   for the next three months. They will be studying about how life takes on a meaning and richness the world cannot offer when we discover our purpose in Christ. They will also be examining how the Bible can help us deal with family conflicts.
   Bereans (co-ed class) : 
They are going to be studying about the parables of Jesus.
   Friendly Neighbors (co-ed class): 
They are continuing their study of the book of Romans.
   Conquerors (senior adult men) : 
This class will be doing a 13 week study of the book of Acts chapters 13 through 28.
   Willing Workers (senior adult women): 
The ladies in this class will be studying the book of Revelation.

M.A.P. senior adult trip

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 5:30 P.M.

 Calling all adults age 60 and up! We want to invite you to join our M.A.P. (Maturing Adults with Pizzazz) Senior Adult Ministry. We always have a great time whether it is at our monthly senior lunch or our day trips. For more information about the senior adult ministry, contact Carrie Shymanski.
   Our next outing is a trip to the Living Word Outdoor Drama in Cambridge. This is a two and a half hour biblical drama of Christ with scenes from the Bible. This will be a rare late evening for our group with a return approximately midnight or a little before. We are attending on "Senior Night" so admission is a reduced price of $10/person who is 60 and older.

PRAYUP WOMEN'S PRAYER GROUP

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 10:30 A.M.

   All ladies are invited to join us for a time of prayer for our families, friends, our church family, and community. We meet in the church library. For more information, contact Sue Davis.

SUNDAY NIGHTS @ EBENEZER

BEGINS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 5:15 P.M.

   Sunday Nights @ Ebenezer offers individuals and families additional Bible studies designed to enrich your walk with God. We have Kid’s Connection for preschool and children up to grade four who meet at the Main Campus. Youth in grades five through twelve meet at the Heritage Center. We are having three Bible studies for adults. There will be a study for ladies, parents and a general Bible study. These will meet at the Main Campus.
   Sunday Nights @ Ebenezer begins the new year
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15
5:15 P.M.
   Each week we will serve a light dinner from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Bible study groups will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

HAYDENVILLE MUSIC IN THE PARK

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 4:00 P.M.

      We want to invite the Haydenville and surrounding communities to a vibrant "Music in the Park" event. featuring your favorite uplifting gospel music. In addition, we will be serving hot dogs and refreshments. There will also be a free school supply giveaway..

LIFEWISE WORMBURNER GOLF BENEFIT

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19, 9:00 A.M.

   Wormburner golf. Don’t let the name fool you. There are no worms, no fire, and we are definitely not cooking worms! Wormburner is a fun and easy golfing sport that anyone can play. Unlike regular golf, you only need one club and one ball to play (both provided). All ages and golf skill levels can play. Think big mini golf or small regular golf.
   Not only will this be a fun event, all of the proceeds will benefit LifeWise Logan.
   We will meet at the Wormburner Golf Park located at Campbell’s Cove Campground, 30713 Lake Logan Road, Logan.
   Cost is just $35 per person or $70 for a two person team. Hole sponsorships are available for $50. Call the church office at 385-8411 to sponsor a hole. Coffee and donuts will be available for breakfast and Millstone BBQ will be providing lunch for everyone courtesy of Thrivent Financial. There will be prizes and giveaways as well. Register HERE
