SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP AT 9AM

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

For overforty years, Samaritan’s Purse has delivered over 100 million shoe boxes filled with gifts to children in more than 130 countries. The shoe boxes also include the gospel message in that child's language. Each year, our church puts together shoe boxes filled with toys and hygiene items for boys and girls from the ages of 2 to 14. For a list of items to fill your shoe box, visit the Samaritan’s Purse website. Once shoe boxes are filled, they can be dropped off at the church by the first week in November.
Those wanting to participate in Operation Christmas Child can either donate individual items, or fill a shoe box. Those who fill shoe boxes are asked to include $10 to cover the cost of shipping. Individuals can also donate money to help with the cost of shipping.   Since 2014, we have sent out over 7,000 shoe boxes. We praise the Lord for the generous donations of our church families. In addition to store bought items, we are also filling shoe box items with handmade items. The following items are being collected: New or gently used t-shirts, wash cloths,  Match Box/Hot Wheels cars, small dolls, small balls, child scissors, small deflated soccer balls, pens, small coloring books, sunglasses, markers, colored pencils, spiraled notebooks, pencils, and glue sticks,  A drop off box is located by the church front entrance.
