PERSECUTED CHURCH SUNDAY

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 9:00 P.M.

More than 388 million Christians around the world face high levels of persecution or discrimination for their faith, roughly 1 in 7 believers globally according to the World Watch List report. The number of countries where Christians experience high, very high, or extreme persecution has grown significantly over the past decade, with around 60 countries now reporting severe levels of persecution.
We are going to have a special service emphasizing and praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are currently enduring severe persecution.
We will replicate what an underground church may experience during a church service. To do this, we will have the heat turned down, lights dimmed, and have a different style of worship music. Be sure to bring a coat or blanket. Most of the chairs will be removed from the sanctuary although there will be chairs for those who need them.
Our prayer for this special day is to not only bring awareness but to have a prayer emphasis to daily pray for those who endure physically for the cause of Christ.

SUPER BOWL PARTY

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 5:00 P.M.

We invite you and your family for a fun evening of football and fellowship. We will be watching the Super Bowl on the big screen. We will also have games for the whole family. Bring a snack or side dish to share. We will provide drinks. Everyone welcome to join us!

AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 8:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.

        Did you know?
  •  Every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood and or platelets.
  • Approximately 29,000 units of red blood cells are needed every day in the U. S.
  • Five million people receive blood every year.
  • Many cancer patients need blood during their chemotherapy treatments
  • Donating blood is a simple process that takes less than a half hour
If you are able, we encourage you to donate at our next blood drive. A power option is also available. This donation collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor. These donors must meet specific eligibility requirements and have type A negative, B negative, or type O blood.

Looking for 4 people per night or 20 people a week. Let Carrie know if interested and to get scheduled.
